The delights of many foreign lands

To start us off i thought i would give you a sense of what i love, and what i discovered recently is that i LOVE europe

Not to long ago i travelled through Europe on an adventure which led me through 13 different countries each with a different story to tell. So here is a snap shot of a few of them..

From christmas in Ireland
having a white christmas was something which everyone needs to experience. the warm glow of the fire whilst drinking hot coco on christmas eve as the snow falls down was a magical moment. the beauty of ireland is amazing Ps I love you does not even do it justice

New years in London
from running along the rive Thames with thousands of others on a clear sky new years eve only to get blogged in the crowds, a quick decision to take a wrong turn lead to be a delightful discovery. jumping a fence and escaping the police a few minutes later we were high above a railway platform with the best view of the fireworks bouncing from the london eye and mr big ben himself

Fondue in Lucerne
its true switzerland is just like looking at a postcard, the sights and views are magnificent, some of the most beautiful my eyes have seen. from walking along the lakes in lucernce to having chocolate fondue with strawberries

Bike rides in Nice
bicycles and baskets with baguettes in them, anyone would have thought we were french, or at least silly tourist sticking to the cliches, either way we had a blast. one of the most beautiful beach lined with pebbled stones, pity the water was a tad cold, that didn't stop us from dipping our feet in though

Strolls in Florence
our first steps on italian soil, gelatos were a must, however when a few of our traveling buddies discovered these gelatos which they had just licked were 10 euros EACH they made sure they licked every last drop and i opted to wait till rome

Lunch on the spanish steps in Rome
gelatos and pannis on the spanish steps was a lovely picnic on a sunny italian day. walking up all the steps at the top i could not help but think of 'roman holiday' and thinking that the gracefully Audrey Hepburn had walked these steps too

Gondola rides in Venice
what more can be said

Snow storms in Prague
prague a city which at first, i will be honest, was a tad unknown to me turned out to be one of my favorites. this city has so much charm, with its traditional cobble streets, historic building and beautiful atmosphere

Valentines day in Paris
the city of love and the day of love, popping champagne infront of the eiffel tower and front row at the moulin rouge plus many more adventure throughout the weeks that we visited one of my favorite cities in the world

Sunsets in Switzerland
staying in a friend of a friends empty swiss house situated surrounded by paddocks occupied by horses and quite quant towns

adventures in Munich

Road trips on the autoban in between...

to end in the lovely Paris

much love
